  Sant Pir Maulana was a contemporary Saint during the sojourn of Shri Sai Baba in Shirdi. A brief mention about his name has been mentioned in Chapter 21 of Holy Shri Sai Satcharitra. sant_moulana Durvesh Shah Imambhai Chotakhan heard the greatness of Shirdi Sai Baba at the age of 65 years.   After the noon arati, Maharaj would come to the outer side of the Masjid and distribute udi amongst the devotees with a most compassionate look. The loving devotees, too, would immediately hug his feet, then standing up, they would adoringly look at his face and enjoy the shower of udi. Baba also lavishly offered handsful of udi in the palms of the devotees. With his thumb he would also apply it to their foreheads.
